Summary: | The endoscope guide tube (30) is fixed to a ball joint (20) which surrounds its distal end, and has an inner diameter which permits the passage of an endoscope. A first outer shell section (10) forms the female component of the ball joint and has an outer threaded surface of the same pitch as the inspection hole in the endoscope monitor. A second shell section (40) engages with the first section and has a proximal zone (44) in the shape of an open truncated cone matching a similar opening (14) in the first shell section, and a distal zone (43) with a spherical surface matching that of the ball joint.
