A mobile rod (36) is attached to the support and provided with a stress gauge or a hydraulic manometer (38) to measure the pressure exerted by the rod. L'invention concerne un dispositif de contrôle in-situ de la pression d'au moins un ressort à gaz agencé dans le bâti (16) d'un outil de presse.Ce dispositif comporte une masse (30), dont le poids est supérieur à la force de pression la plus élevée à mesurer, fixée à un moyen de manutention (32) capable de la déplacer dans un plan horizontal et dans un plan vertical. Un support (34) est fixé sur la face inférieure de la masse (30) et prolongé par une tige (36) mobile dans ledit support et associée à un moyen de mesure (38) de la pression exercée par la tige précitée.Celle-ci est destinée à venir en appui sur le piston (24) du ressort (22) à contrôler.par.
