The encastred oven (2) which is mounted in a recess comprises a casing (3) with a bottom (6). It has at least three support elements (10,11,12) located one behind the other in the mounting direction near the casing bottom. The oven has two lateral walls (4,5) parallel to the mounting direction which are connected to the bottom. The installation surfaces of part of the supports projects further toward the exterior than the casing lateral walls. The maximum distance between the two casing walls is about 96% of the width of the recess.
