Summary:An outer casing (1) encloses a light source (2) and includes a window (1a) as at least a portion of its front surface. A drive mechanism within the casing allows movement of a display panel (V) between a front position in which it is visible through the window but inaccessible, and a rear position in which it is accessible via a panel (4) in the rear surface of the casing. The display panel is supported on a continuous strip which moves around a pair of fixed guide supports (6), e.g. a pair of cylinders, one of which drives the strip by friction engagement with its inner surface. The strip includes an aperture into which the display panel may be attached. Caisson lumineux, pour exposer une vue (V), constitué par un boîtier (1) renfermant une source lumineuse (2) et présentant sur sa face frontale une fenêtre (1a), caractérisé en ce que le boîtier présente des moyens d'entraînement de la vue (V) permettant de la transférer d'une position frontale, où elle n'est pas accessible, à une position arrière où elle est facilement accessible.
