In a sealing device for appliances, in particular for electricity meters, a bolt (1) consisting of a rod (shank) (6) and a head (5) closes a casing (4) consisting of a first casing part (2) and of a second casing part (3). Lugs (8) formed on the rod (6) prevent rotation of the bolt (1), and an engagement mechanism consisting of teeth (9) prevents the bolt (1) from being removed. In order to open the casing (4), it is necessary to separate the head (5) of the bolt (1) from the rod (6). It is thus possible to know whether the casing (4) has been opened by unauthorised persons. The bolt (1) can be manufactured as an injection-moulded plastic component. The sealing device is thus economical. Dans un dispositif de plombage pour des appareils, notamment pour des compteurs d'électricité, un boulon (1) constitué d'une tige (6) et d'une tête (5) ferme un boîtier (4) constitué d'une première partie de boîtier (2) et d'une seconde partie de boîtier (3). Des ergots (8) formés sur la tige (6) empêchent la rotation du boulon (1), et un mécanisme d'enclenchement constitué de dents (9) empêche le boulon (1) d'être retiré. Pour ouvrir le boîtier (4), il faut séparer la tête (5) du boulon (1) de la tige (6). On peut ainsi reconnaître que le boîtier (4) a été ouvert par des personnes non autorisées. Le boulon (1) peut être fabriqué comme pièce moulée par injection de matière plastique. Le dispositif de plombage est ainsi économique.
