Summary:The reaction space (15, 75) of the apparatus where reaction between the liquid phase and solid granular biocatalyst takes place is separated from the space that serves for intensive contact between the gas - generally oxygen - and the liquid phase. The latter space is the interior of a circulation pipe (50, 85). One end of the circulation pipe (50) leads out from the reaction space (15, 75) and the other end leads into it. The circulation pipe (15, 75) is divided by a butt-in pump (38, 86) into suction branch (37, 87) and pressure branch (39, 88). In the direction of the medium-flow (g) proceeding from the pump (38, 86) towards the point of leading the pressure branch into the reaction space, successively first a flow-accelerating element (49, 89) is built into the pressure branch (39, 88), then a gas food pipe (48, 92) is leading in, and thereafter gas dispersing elements (45, 46) are built in. Filter 21 prevents loss of catalyst.
