Summary:Control device for a hydrostatic transmission, preferably the pump of such a transmission, the actuating element being in effective connection with a control servo piston displaceable in a control servo cylinder against the force of a spring and the pressure chamber in the said piston admitting a control pressure randomly controllable by means of a regulating solenoid valve and a displacement of the actuating element towards the no-stroke position being able to be produced by the admission of pressure, it being possible to connect the magnet of the regulating solenoid valve to a randomly controllable control voltage, the pressure admission increasing as the control voltage rises and, for the purpose of ensuring that the transmission can be controlled at random with the output section at a standstill even should a control solenoid stick, the transmission being connectable by an additional device of the magnets of the regulating solenoid valve to a predetermined, preferably maximum control voltage, especially where two regulating solenoid valves are each assigned to one movement direction both can be simultaneously connected to a maximum control voltage.
