Abstract Nouvelle substance immunostimulante désignée par le n degrés 34129 RP obtenue à partir de cellules de Streptomyces Stimulosus DS 25556 (NRRL 5776) délipidées. La substance selon l'invention est obtenue par le procédé qui consiste à soumettre à des autolyses répétées des cellules délipidées de Streptomyces Stimulosus DS 25556 (NRRL 5776) puis à fractionner la partie soluble dans l'eau par ultrafiltration pour obtenir des substances dont le poids moléculaire est compris entre 2 000 et 20 0000 et à isoler la substance hydrosoluble 34129 RP ainsi obtenue après lyophilisation de sa solution. Application : substance hydrosoluble immunostimulante. An immunostimulant substance, denoted 34129 RP, is obtained from delipidated cells of Streptomyces stimulosus DS 25556 (NRRL 5776), by a process which comprises subjecting these delipidated cells to repeated autolysis, thereafter fractionating the water-soluble portion of the autolysis product by ultrafiltration to obtain substances whose molecular weight is 2000 to 20,000, and isolating the water- soluble substance 34129RP thus obtained after lyophilization of the solution. The immunostimulant substance is water-soluble, and can be administered by numerous routes to humans and to animals, preferably in the form of conventional pharmaceutical formulations. The immunostimulant, which has an elementary analysis; C40.4-41.1%; H 6.7-6.9%, N 8.0-10.6%, comprises alamine (5 to 7%), glutamic acid (7 to 10%), glycine (2.5 to 4%), alpha , alpha , diaminopimelic acid (5 to 8%), N-acetyl- glucosamine (5 to 10%) and muramic acid (5 to 10%).
