Summary:The method comprises: a) acquiring an image of a kidney stone; b) analysing, using computer-aided vision technology, information contained in the acquired image, referring to the characteristics of the image associated with at least the texture of the kidney stone; and c) classifying the kidney stone based on the result of said analysis. The system is suitable for carrying out the method according to the invention. The computer program carries out the analysis and classification steps of the method according to the invention, and the computer program product incorporates the computer program.
