Abstract | The invention describes a method and a system for estimating the electrical production of a photovoltaic plant under real operating conditions. The invention minimizes the "a priori" estimates of loss scenarios and calculates the electrical productivity in different climatic conditions where the dirt in the panels plays an important role, for structures with tracking to the sun, considering the effect of mutual shading among followers. It takes into account the changes in the efficiency of the different components of the photovoltaic installation by means of clear day models. It also allows establishing a selection between existing models and arranges them in such a way that they allow the simulation in real operating conditions of the operation of the plant, obtaining as a result its annual electric production.
