Abstract The invention describes a method and a system for estimating the electrical production of a photovoltaic plant under real operating conditions. The invention minimizes the "a priori" estimates of loss scenarios and calculates the electrical productivity in different climatic conditions where the dirt in the panels plays an important role, for structures with tracking to the sun, considering the effect of mutual shading among followers.
