| Abstract | A method and system to interface over mobile and fixed communication networks in order to guarantee bandwidth allocation for voice and data over 3G and 2G networks implemented in a DSL modem or in a mobile network user equipment. The interface allows fixed networks to be merged with mobile networks and handles the translation of information received from 3G/2G Radio part to the DSL one and vice versa. The interface allows handles the triggering of appropriate commands to guarantee the QoS (Quality of Service) for the different services offered by the network operator. |
