Abstract The invention discloses an antibacterial and virucidal interface for non-invasive mechanical ventilation, formed by a contact component made of flexible material, a body made of rigid material and having anchor points for straps, and a screen of transparent or translucent material comprising a connection port, such that the contact component is fixed to the screen by means of coupling means which are in turn attached to the body by means of joining elements, all these being coupled together by an airtight closure and consisting of thermoplastic materials suitable for silver ion-based sterilisation and disinfection, to endow them with an antibacterial and virucidal nature. Advantageously, the interface provides a rapid response rate for production and supply, and the manufacture of the interface is also feasible using traditional methods involving the injection and thermoforming of plastic materials.
