Abstract Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose devices, methods and apparatuses for multicast transmission. A terminal device may receive a mode indication of multicast transmission from a network device. The mode indication may indicate a beam mapping mode which is activated among multiple beam mapping modes, and the beam mapping mode may be associated with a mapping between a transmission beam and a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasion for the terminal device. The terminal device may further perform a PDCCH monitoring based on the mode indication.
