Abstract | An agricultural system (300) is disclosed. The agricultural system (300) comprising: one or more seed quality sensors (380) configured to detect a seed within a row unit (106) of an agricultural planting machine (100) and to generate sensor data indicative of a quality of the detected seed; one or more processors (301); and a data store (302) configured to store computer executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors (301), configure the one or more processors (301) to: determine a quality of the seed based on the sensor data and to generate a seed quality value (440) indicative of the determined seed quality. Furthermore, a computer implemented method of controlling such an agricultural system (300) is disclosed. |
