Abstract | The present application provides a separator and a battery including the separator. The separator includes a substrate, heat-resistant layers, and an adhesive layer, the heat-resistant layers are disposed on two opposite surfaces of the substrate, and the adhesive layer is disposed on the heat-resistant layer; and an adhesive force between the adhesive layer and negative electrode is A, a peel force between a heat-resistant layer and the substrate is B, and a ratio of A to B (A/B) is greater than 1. In the present application, heat-resistant layers of a separator are bonded to surfaces of positive electrode and negative electrode, so that it is difficult for the positive electrode and the negative electrode to be shorted at a high temperature, thereby improving safety performance of a battery. In addition, in the present application, an ethyl propionate solvent is added to a non-aqueous electrolyte solution, so that low-temperature performance of a battery cell can be further considered. In the present application, based on a synergistic effect between a separator and an electrolyte solution, for a battery obtained through preparation, safety performance of the cell is effectively improved, and a low-temperature performance of the cell is considered. |
