The container is closed at one end by a base wall and has an opposed open end. The container receives a cap on the open end to enclose the container. The gripping attachment device comprises: a sleeve portion having a sleeve wall defining an internal, cylindrical surface configured to removably attach to a wall of the container to inhibit relative movement between the container and the sleeve portion; an enlarged base portion; and an even more enlarged upper portion, in which the even more enlarged upper portion includes a surface structure for receiving a syringe.
