An assembly for a medicament delivery device, the assembly comprising: a container holder comprising a body extending along a longitudinal axis between a proximal and a distal end, the body defining an interior chamber for receiving a medicament container; an actuator connected to the container holder and axially movable relative to the body of the container holder; and a drive assembly attached to the body of the container holder; wherein the drive assembly comprises a motion converter and a rod; wherein the actuator comprises an activation surface movable relative to the motion converter of the drive assembly in the direction of the longitudinal axis; and wherein a movement of the actuator relative to the container holder in the direction of the longitudinal axis is converted to a movement of the rod relative to the container holder along a transverse axis transverse to the longitudinal axis through an engagement between the motion converter of the drive assembly and the activation surface of the actuator.
