The present invention relates to a mount for a vehicle instrument, such as for example a measuring and/or display instrument, and to a system consisting of a mount and a measuring and/or display instrument. According to the invention, the mount can be fastened to a vehicle, in particular to a bicycle. For this purpose, two fastening elements are provided, which are releasably connected to at least one fastening means and, for example, comprise a tube or a handlebar of a bicycle. The crux of the invention is that a locking means and a magnet are provided, the locking means being movable by the actuation of the magnet. In a first position, the movement of the locking means causes a locking of the measuring and/or display element in the mount, whilst in a second position, the movement allows unlocking of the measuring and display element for removal from the mount.
