Abstract A method and system for controlling a medical apparatus. The method comprises: an information detection device detecting identifier information of a terminal within a preset safety distance range, and sending the identifier information to an apparatus control device (S1001); if the identifier information is successfully verified by the apparatus control device, the terminal then determining, according to obtained target operation parameters, a current authorized function of the terminal, the target operation parameters comprising a target region in which the terminal is currently located and a target safety condition (S1002); the apparatus control device receiving an operation instruction sent by the terminal and corresponding to the authorized function, and controlling a medical apparatus to perform an operation corresponding to the operation instruction (S 1003); and if a current status of the terminal meets a preset condition, the terminal then switching a display mode to a preset target mode, the target mode being used to display content to be displayed by the terminal (S1004). The method can be used to improve operation safety when the terminal controls the medical apparatus to operate, and to increase the utilization of the terminal.
