Abstract A current collector (214) for a lead-acid battery includes a frame-shaped frame bone portion (310) and a grid portion that is formed inside the frame bone portion (310) and has an inner bone. A peripheral surface of at least a part of the inner bone in the grid portion includes a first peripheral portion (431) on which a fibrous structure is exposed and a second peripheral portion (432) on which a granular structure is exposed. At least a part of the inner bones is configured in a manner that the length of the first peripheral portion is longer than the length of the second peripheral portion on a predetermined cross section substantially perpendicular to the extension direction of the inner bone.
