Abstract The purpose of the present invention is to provide a furnace gas feeding device and the like that are unlikely to result in variations in gas flow rate and gas temperature, and that enable minimizing variation in the outer diameter of an optical fiber. The present invention pertains to a furnace gas feeding device for feeding gas into a wire drawing furnace. This furnace gas feeding device has: a first flow channel into which gas is introduced through a given first gas inlet and led toward a gas storage part from a given first gas outlet; and a second flow channel in which the gas stored in the gas storage part is introduced from a given second gas inlet and led toward a furnace core tube of the wire drawing furnace from a given second gas outlet. The gas storage part is provided between the first gas outlet and the second gas inlet. The opening of the second gas inlet is provided at a position different from the position of the opening of the first gas outlet.
