| Abstract | The invention relates to a boat (100) comprising: a hull (102) with a bridge (104), a platform (106) mounted on the bridge (104) such that it pivots about an axis (Z) perpendicular to the bridge (104), a kite (110) comprising a wing (112) and flanges (114) where one of the ends of each flange (114) is attached to the wing (112), a cable (116) where the other end of each flange (114) is attached to an end of the cable (116), a deployment system (150) attached to the platform (106) where the other end of the cable (116) is attached to the deployment system (150) and which allows the cable (116) to be alternately extended and shortened, and a mast (180) attached to the platform (106) and comprising a plurality of arms (182) that are generally parallel to the bridge (104), where the arms (182) are to be positioned beneath the wing (112) when the cable (116) is shortened. |
