The invention relates to a device (10a-c) for domestic appliances, in particular a hotplate device, comprising at least one radio receiver (12a-c), which has at least one receiving printed circuit board (14a-c), provided for receiving at least one radio signal, and at least one processing printed circuit board (16a-c), provided for processing the received radio signal, and comprising at least one support unit (18a-c), which supports the receiving printed circuit board (14a-c) at a spacing from the processing printed circuit board (16a-c). The aim of the invention is to provide a device of the type in question having improved properties in terms of radio reception. This aim is achieved, according to the invention, in that, when viewed in a direction (20a-c) oriented perpendicularly to a main extension plane of the processing printed circuit board (16a-c), the support unit (18a-c) supports the receiving printed circuit board (14a-c) and the processing printed circuit board (16a-c) without overlapping.
