Abstract Methods, a network node and a wireless device for implementing pre-configured grants with a hopping pattern in a wireless communication system are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method in a network node for scheduling uplink transmissions for at least one wireless device is provided. The method includes defining a set of time-frequency uplink distribution patterns utilizing preconfigured grants of time-frequency resources for the at least one wireless device. The method also includes assigning to a first wireless device of the at least one wireless device a first time-frequency uplink distribution pattern from the set.
