An outer portion (4a, 4b) of the ball recirculation tube (4) that constitutes an outer end located radially farthest from the center axis of a screw shaft (2) has an adjustable portion used to adjust the distance from the center axis of the screw shaft (2) to the outer end. This facilitates attachment of a member fitted on a nut and the ball recirculation tube (4).
