Summary: | A medical system includes a first flexible elongate member having a steerable distal section and a lumen, and an elongate member holder having a first component and a second component that is moveable relative to the first component, the first and second components configured to cooperate with each other to grip a second flexible elongate member positioned in the lumen of the first elongate member, wherein the first and second components are configured to cooperate with each other in a first mode of operation to translate the second elongate member along a longitudinal axis of the second elongate member, and to cooperate with each other in a second mode of operation to rotate the second elongate member about the longitudinal axis of the second elongate member. |
