a) formation of an analysis mixture, comprising
a test sample to by analyzed for presence of nucleic acid-binding substance, and a nucleic acid

b) determination of the presence or the amount of free nucleic acid in the analysis mixture, wherein free nucleic acid is nucleic acid that is not bound to nucleic acid-binding substance,
