Summary: | The mechanism has a return unit (13) causing high abutment elements (6) to pass toward an engagement position as from a preset return force threshold corresponding to a preset lessening of centrifugal force generated by a drive unit (9). A bistable engagement latch (15) selectively engages the elements between an active state in which the latch engages with the elements to keep the elements blocked in the engagement position, and an inactive state in which engagement is broken for allowing the elements free to move independently relative to the latch. An independent claim is also included for a rotor for a rotorcraft. |
