Summary:The pump has an electronically commutated direct current (DC) motor comprising a permanent-magnetic inner rotor arranged in a wet chamber. Length of claw poles (7, 7') in an axis-parallel direction is larger than radius of an inscribed circle of the claw poles. Bending radii of claw pole metal sheets (6, 6', 66, 66') in a transition region between rings (8, 88, 88') and the claw poles are equal, so that a gap is formed between the claw pole metal sheets in the transition region. The claw poles are welded with each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a pump.
