Summary:The device has a housing for accommodating an electrical heating element i.e. positive temperature coefficient element, and comprising a plug retainer (64). A printed circuit board (104) has a plugging element retainer (112) connected with an electrical plugging contact. The element retainer is arranged in the housing such that the contact is arranged in the element retainer in an electrically contacting manner when the housing is accommodated in the plug retainer. The plug retainer has a guiding surface (100) that is formed at a flange (65) provided between a housing surface and the board.
