Abstract | It is to reduce the amount of coke usage in a melting furnace by melting a waste efficiently. At least one of a selecting process (S1), a crushing process (S2), and a drying process (S3) is performed on a waste before the waste is fed into a melting furnace (1) in which a waste is melted using coke. At least one of the processes can select a waste having a moisture content of 50% by weight or lower, and the selected waste can be fed into the melting furnace. |
