Abstract | An axial flow positive displacement flowmeter capable of reducing pressure loss, manufacturable at low cost, and having high accuracy. The axial flow positive displacement flowmeter (1) comprises a pair of rotors (10) of a same shape and a same size with different torsional directions, a casing (4) in which the rotors (10) are housed, an inflow side lid (2) for sealing the inflow side end of the casing (4), an inflow port (21) formed in the flange (22) of an inflow side lid (2), an outflow side lid (3) for sealing the outflow side end of the casing (4), and an outflow port (31) formed in the flange (32) of the outflow side lid (3). The inflow port (21) and the outflow port (31) are arranged in alignment with each other along the flowing direction of a fluid to be metered. |
