METHOD OF INSERTING AN UNDULATING WINDING INTO A STATOR OF A POLYPHASE ROTATING ELECTRICAL MACHINE, AND ASSOCIATED STATOR

The method involves forming and placing phase windings (70) on an insertion tool (80). Each winding has turns (73), around the tool, that are overlaid in a winding order. The turns are inserted in slots of a stator in an order opposite to the winding order. The windings are wound around the tool so...

Summary:The method involves forming and placing phase windings (70) on an insertion tool (80). Each winding has turns (73), around the tool, that are overlaid in a winding order. The turns are inserted in slots of a stator in an order opposite to the winding order. The windings are wound around the tool so that the turns succeeding in the winding order alternatively belong to the different windings. An independent claim is also included for a stator of poly-phase rotating machine.
