Abstract | The electrical connector includes a connector housing having a contact engaging section (111) with contacts (102) which engage mating contacts , and a wire holder (1112) holding wires (100) connected to the contacts (102). The connector cover (21) is capable of moving between a partially engaging position in which a rear end of the wire holder (1112) is housed in the connector cover (21) and a fully engaging position in which the rear end of the wire holder (1112) projects from a rear end opening of the connector cover (21). The connector housing has a first engaging section (1121) engagable with a mating connector in the partially engaging position. The connector cover (21) has a second engaging section (2114) engagable with the first engaging section (1121) and restraining disengagement of the first engaging section (1121) from the mating connector in the fully engaging position. |
