Abstract | The diesel engine monitoring system incorporates a receiver (1) which measures engine noise and is connected to a signal analyzer (2). The analyzer is connected to a first computer (3) measuring crest factor (C) and a second computer (4) measuring standard variation of the frequency of the noise impulse peaks (S). The analyzer is also connected to a third computer (5) measuring a percentage noise intensity (N(N5)). The first two computers are connected to a fourth computer (6) giving a measure of diesel noise quality (D). The third and fourth computers are connected to a fifth computer (7) calculating diesel emission quality (GQ) according to a given mathematical formula.
Die Ermittlung der Geräuschqualität von Dieselmotoren oder Dieselfahrzeugen erfolgt durch Ermittlung der Schall- bzw. Geräuschemissionen mittels einer Schallempfangseinrichtung (1), durch nachfolgende Auswertung der Ausgangssignale der Schallempfangseinrichtung (1) mit Berechnungseinheiten (6, 5) für die Dieselhaftigkeit (D) und die Lautheit (N) und durch Auswertung mittels einer Auswerteeinrichtung (7), insbesondere unter Einbeziehung des Crestfaktors (C) und der Standardabweichungen (S) der Häufigkeitsverteilung der Impulshöhen für das Dieselgeräusch in der Berechnungseinrichtung (6) für die Dieselhaftigkeit (D). |
