Summary:The hydraulic vibration damper has a bypass between the two working cavities (3, 4) of a cylinder (1) containing a piston (2), with two or more bypass channels. The bypass has a flat slide valve (14) containing a control through passage enabling it to be used as a setting element. The slide valve extends over the bypass channels, which come out next to each other. There is a separate control passage for each bypass channel.
