HETEROCYCLICALLY SUBSTITUTED (THIO)PHOSPHORIC TRIAMIDES

The invention relates to the heterocyclically substituted (thio)phosphoric triamides of the general formula (I), wherein X represents oxygen or sulfur, Y represents N or C-R , R represents hydrogen, C1-C8 alkyl or C6-C10 aryl, and R , R , R , R independently represent hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, aralkyl,...

Summary:The invention relates to the heterocyclically substituted (thio)phosphoric triamides of the general formula (I), wherein X represents oxygen or sulfur, Y represents N or C-R , R represents hydrogen, C1-C8 alkyl or C6-C10 aryl, and R , R , R , R independently represent hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkoxy, halogen, alkylthio, (di)alkylamino, cyano, nitro, the alkyl groups having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, the aryl groups having 6 to 10 carbon atoms and the aralkyl groups having 7 to 18 carbon atoms and being optionally substituted. The inventive (thio)phosphoric triamides are extremely effective urease inhibitors with excellent hydrolytic stability and can be produced at low costs and with little technical effort from simple starting materials. The inventive compounds are sufficiently soluble in water and toxicologically safe and can be easily incorporated into urea or urea-based fertilizers by conventional methods. They can be efficiently applied together with the fertilizer or fed to ruminants.
