Abstract | The porous silicon has cavities measuring 1-1,000 nm filled with oxidizing agent. The surface of silicon is separated from oxidizing agent by passivating layer which can be perforated to ignite explosion. An Independent claim is also included for a process for producing a reactive substance comprising applying the reactive barrier layers for preventing premature oxidation by a chemical process, an electrochemical process, a physical process or a vapor deposition process. |
