Abstract | An image data transfer mechanism (10) is disclosed having a source device (40), processing circuitry (35), and a target device (42). The source device (40) is operative to transmit digital data. The processing circuitry (35) is coupled to the source device (40) for receiving the image data from the source device (40). The target device (42) has memory (66), and is coupled with the processing circuitry (35). The target device (42) is operative to receive the image data, while the memory (66) is allocatable as a frame buffer (68) for receiving the image data. A method is also disclosed. |
