In a process for mfg. brushes, esp. tooth brushes, comprising a handle of two different plastic components and bundles of bristles: i) bristle groups are located by a holder (8) in a first set of cavities (10); ii) a first plastic component is injected into the first cavity set (10) to hold the bristles; iii) the tool (4, 5) is opened after polymer cooling and the bristles together with the moulded first parts are moved to a second set of cavities (11); iv) the second plastic component is injected to complete the handles. Claimed process equipment comprises an injection moulding tool (4, 5) with two sets of cavities (10, 11) and a bristle holder (8) forming part of the cavity. The holder (8) has holes appropriate to the number and arrangement of bristle bundles.
