Summary:A device determines the adhesiveness of sealing materials to metallic and nonmetallic substrates, in particular to spacers for multi-pane insulating glass. In order to carry out a rapid and realistic determination, a loading lever (2) having a movable weight (3) is mounted by means of a knife-edge bearing (4, 4a) on a baseplate (1). The other end (5) of the lever is of fork-shaped construction, with devices (6) at both fork ends for receiving a sealing material test piece (7), and a corresponding fork-shaped mounting (8) with devices (9) at both fork ends for countermounting the test piece is mounted on the baseplate (1) underneath the fork-shaped lever end (5).
