Abstract | Procede de recuperation d'un combustible de haute qualite, de preference exempt de soufre, a partir de materiaux combustibles solides bitumeux ou pyro-bitumineux, tels que des schistes huileux ou alumineux, ledit procede comprenant la fine division du materiau brut et en separant ce materiau en au moins un concentrat de combustible et un produit residuel qui est lie au moyen d'un liant sous une forme d'agregat durable. Le procede est caracterise en ce que le materiau brut apres sa reduction physique en fines particules de taille suffisante est separe en un concentrat de combustible de haute qualite, de preference exempt de soufre, contenant une quantite donnee de mineraux formant des cendres ajustee par rapport au contenu en mineraux formant des cendres du materiau brut et en un produit residuel comprenant essentiellement des mineraux formant les cendres. Un liant pour la liaison hydraulique du produit residuel en un agglomerat durable est obtenu a partir du concentrat de combustible en le faisant bruler tout en utilisant le contenu en combustible dudit concentrat.
