Abstract | The present application provides a method of inspecting a bond joint 240. The method may include the steps of applying an exothermic adhesive 230 to a first shell 150 and/or a second shell 190, attaching the first shell 150 to the second shell 190 via the exothermic adhesive 230 to create the bond joint 240, allowing the exothermic adhesive 230 to cure, and imaging the heat released by the exothermic adhesive 230 along the bond joint 240. The bond joint 240 may be a turbine blade 100 bond joint 240. |
