Abstract | Milk magnesium/calcium materials, in which the magnesium and calcium content is more than 13% by weight of the total solids and the magnesium and calcium salts do not form clear crystalline structure, are provided. The milk magnesium/calcium materials are produced by a method in which milk or milk substances are passed through weakly acidic cation-exchange resins, then strongly acidic cation-exchange resins, and magnesium and calcium adsorbed onto the strongly acidic cation-exchange resins are eluted and recovered as magnesium and calcium salts. |
