Summary: | In a gas analysis instrument, a sample gas is introduced to a cellular gas analyser through an inlet pipe (3). The inlet pipe has no branches; that a pressure sensor (7) registers changes in pressure within the gas analyser; and that a compensation device (8) which compensates for the changes in the pressure measurements registered within the cell, and that the compensation is effected upon the basis of the pressure measured by the sensor. USE/ADVANTAGE - The process is used in the analysis of gas. The instrument reacts rapidly to changes to eliminate errors due to turbulence and convection. |
