Summary: | The invention relates to a digital communications system with a computer controller (ZR) to which a switching controller (CPTL) is allocated for the implementation of switching procedures, conference circuits and memories (SP) to record control data relating to switching and service features. The memories (SP) comprise permanent memories (SPP) and dynamic memories. The permanent memories (SPP) contain system configuration data. First dynamic memories (CS) are dynamically allocated to terminals which are involved in a call set-up or an existing call. The first dynamic memories have storage spaces in which a code of a first and a second subscriber and a third subscriber put on hold can be recorded. In addition, each first dynamic memory (CS) has a further storage space for a conference call code. Second dynamic memories (CB) which are equal in number to the conference circuits provided in the communication system are dynamically allocated to the terminals involved in a conference call set-up or an existing conference call and in each case have a storage space for each subscriber involved in a conference call. This design of the first and second memories minimises storage requirements in that the first dynamic memories (CS) merely ... a storage space for the ... Original abstract incomplete. |
