Summary:A preferably hexagonal drum (1) is used as a compost screen and is mounted in a frame made of brackets (22, 23) so as to be rotatable about its horizontally arranged longitudinal axis. The peripheral surface of the drum (1) is perforated. A wall section which is designed as a flap (4) permits the drum to be filled and emptied. Rings (9) mounted at the ends of the drum (1) make rotation of the drum possible and can also be used as tyre covers.
