Abstract A self-illuminant delineator including a plurality of light-emitting diodes being flickerably disposed on the sign surface of the delineator and covered by a transparent cover, a solar cell module being disposed on the top surface of the delineator and covered with a transparent cover, a transmission means and/or a receiving means for a signal which controls the flickering of the light-emitting diodes. Also a self-illuminant delineator system including a plurality of the above self-illuminant delineators which are installed to form a line-up of an eye-guiding, traffic or other sign along a shoulder of a road.
