A pneumatic system with an air drying device is proposed. The air drying device has a connection housing (3) on which a cap-shaped container (6) is mounted, which accommodates a drying agent cartridge (7). For ease of changing the drying agent cartridge (7) a clamping bracket (22) is used, which is swivellably mounted on the housing (3) and can be swivelled over the container (6) and fixed there. To release the container (6) this merely has to be pressed downwards against a spring force, following which the clamping bracket (22) can be swivelled away. The drying agent cartridge (7) is then freely accessible and can be replaced. The pneumatic system is preferably a pneumatic brake system for motor vehicles.
