Summary: | The method treats wood with impregnation and conservation chemicals, any of the liquid dripping off the surface being collected and discharged or filtered and recycled, or concentrated or subjected to further processing. The chemical is applied in trickles of 10 to 50mm, and pref. 30 to 40mm. apart, flowing through openings of 15 to 25mm. diameter or more and from 1 to 300mm., preferably 50 to 150mm., above the surface of the wood. Any chemical dripping off can be collected and passed through a separator, filter, strainer etc. before recycling and return. |
